*Holiday Special* – B&B Breakfast, The Blacksmiths Head, Lingfield, Surrey

As mentioned in my last post, Junk (that’s moi!) is currently on holiday. I’ll be staying for 2 nights in a B&B in Lingfield, Surrey before flying out on Thursday to warmer climes.

Guess being on holiday disturbed the blogging habit and I forgot to take pictures of both lunch and dinner so breakfast this morning will have to do. The Blacksmith Head is a pub cum B&B located in Lingfield, Surrey and I chose to stay here out of convenience rather than from any reviews or recommendations. Glad I did though, the accommodation was nicely decorated, spacious, clean and cozy. I especially enjoyed the company of the 2 pub residents being an animal lover and all.

As the word B&B suggests, breakfast is included in the price of the room and I had a full English breakfast. Which is an interesting point, what makes up a full English breakfast? Eggs, sausage, bacon, beans and toasts are obvious but what about mushrooms, tomatoes or hashbrowns? Would adding black pudding make it something else? If anyone of you have a definitive definition, do leave a comment.

Though the portion was not huge, the full English was more then adequate. Won’t want a full stomach for what I’m going to do for the rest of the day. The sausages was especially tasty, not those nasty mushy ones a greasy spoon normally serves.
